Itinerary

  • Day 1, Arrive Mumbai (Previously known as Bombay)

    On arrival in Mumbai, meet our representative who will transfer you to a hotel for overnight stay.

  • Day 2, Mumbai

    Post breakfast, go for full day city tour of Mumbai. Today, you will visit Gateway of India, Towers of Silence, Marine Drive, Colaba Causeway, Dhobi Ghat, Kamla Nehru Park, Mani Bhawan, Crawford Market. Dinner and overnight stay at the Mumbai hotel.

  • Day 3, Mumbai - Aurangabad (train)

    Post breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to railway station to board a train to Aurangabad. On arrival at Aurangabad, meet our representatives, who will further transfer you to a hotel. In the afternoon, visit tourists attractions like Daulatabad Fort, Bibi-Ka-Muqbara, and Aurangabad Caves. Dinner and overnight stay at the Aurangabad hotel.

  • Day 4, Aurangabad - Ellora Caves - Aurangabad

    Post breakfast at the hotel, you will go for a trip to Ellora Caves. Dinner and overnight stay at the Aurangabad hotel.

  • Day 5, Aurangabad - Jalgaon - Bhopal

    Today, you will drive to Ajanta caves, which is approximately 100 km from Aurangabad. In the afternoon, drive to Jalgaon. On arrival at Jalgoan, you will be transferred to a railway station from where you will take a train to Bhopal. Dinner and overnight stay at the Bhopal hotel.

  • Day 6, Bhopal - Agra (train)

    After enjoying a tasty breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit Sanchi Stupa, where you will find a group of stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating from 3rd century BC to 12th century AD. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the railway station to catch a train to Agra. On arrival at Agra check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Agra hotel.

  • Day 7, Agra - Varanasi

    Visit the Taj Mahal and then go for a trip to Agra Fort. In the evening, you will be transferred to the railway station to board a train for Varanasi.

  • Day 8, Varanasi

    Upon arrival at Varanasi, meet our representatives, who will further transfer you to a hotel. Later proceed to visit Sarnath. In the afternoon proceed for the city tour visit Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, and Tulsi Manas Temple. In the evening view "Aarti" ceremony on the Ghats. Overnight stay at the Varanasi hotel.

  • Day 9, Varanasi - Bodhgaya

    Early morning, go for a boat cruise at the river Ganges and then drive back to the hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast, drive to Bodhgaya. On arrival at Bodhgaya check-in at the hotel. Later, you will visit Mahabodhi Temple, and Bodhi Tree, which is situated in the premises of the temple. Dinner and overnight stay at the Bodhgaya hotel.

  • Day 10, Bodhgaya - Rajgir - Nalanda - Patna

    Today, make a point to indulge in a hearty breakfast as you will be traveling to Patna by car. During the four hour journey, you will enjoy a stopover at the Nalanda University, Rajgir (Vulture Peak) and Saptparni caves. Dinner and overnight stay at Patna.

  • Day 11, Patna - Kushinagar

    After breakfast in the morning, drive to Kushinagar. En-route, visit Vaishali, where Lord Buddha preached his last sermon. Also, you will see the Ashok Pillar, which was erected by Emperor Ashok to commemorate the spot of the last sermon. On arrival in Kushinagar check-in at the hotel for the overnight stay.

  • Day 12, Kushinagar - Lumbini

    Today, in the first half, you will explore Kushinagar, an important Buddhist pilgrimage destination where Lord Buddha attained Parinirvana or final Nirvana. Also, visit ancient stupas and modern temples, commemorating the Buddha's death and cremation. Visit the spectacular reclining Buddha Statue. Enjoy a night stay at the hotel in Kushinagar. Later continue drive to Lumbini. On arrival at Lumbini check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 13, Lumbini - Kathmandu

    Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to airport to connect flight to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 14, Kathmandu

    Post breakfast at the hotel, proceed for city tour to Kathmandu Pashupatinath Temple (the most sacred of the Hindu temples), Swayambhunath (oldest Buddhist shrine), and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Also you will go for a sightseeing tour of the Patan - a city of architecture and fine arts. In the evening, you will be visiting the Tibetan Handicraft Centre at Jawalakhel to watch carpet weaving.

  • Day 15, Kathmandu Depart

    Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
